Description
A grand dame of the wool-heathered stage, Mistress Star-Sown didn’t just appear—she made an entrance.”
Originally a costume designer for the Great Forest Theatre, she eventually decided she’d had enough of the wings and was ready for the spotlight. Every inch of her has been meticulously handcrafted by Mary, featuring a flowing, sunset-hued gown and a star-tipped wand that seems to hold the very first light of evening.
She specializes in granting one very specific wish: “more creative hours in the day.” Whether she’s guarding an artist’s studio or presiding over a collector’s mantle, Mistress Star-Sown brings a touch of theatrical magic and old-world charm to any room.

“A Personal Note: If Mistress Star-Sown looks particularly familiar to those in the village, it’s no coincidence! This piece was inspired by Mary’s own turn as the Fairy Godmother in last week’s Pendeen Panto. After hanging up her own wings and wand, she sat down to felt this miniature tribute—capturing all the sparkle and theatrical joy of the performance to share with you.”
